Pricing

Prepaid for years, so it can't lapse when it matters.

A monthly card charge dies with its owner. That is a strange way to fund the one thing that has to survive them, so Torchpass doesn't work that way — you pay annually, or several years up front, and the plan stays live through the exact moment it's needed.

Checkout is not live yet. The prices below are the real ones. The buttons do not take payment until Stripe is connected, so nothing is charged today.

Why prepaid

The failure mode we refuse to build in.

Picture the alternative. You die. Your card is cancelled within a fortnight because that is what banks do. The subscription funding your continuity plan fails on its next renewal, and the plan quietly expires — during exactly the window it existed for.

Prepaying is not an upsell. It is the only funding model that survives the event the product is for.

If you stop paying

Nothing is deleted at the stroke of midnight. Your packs stay where they are for a long grace window, and you are told repeatedly before anything changes.

If you cancel

Print every pack before you go, or after. They are plain pages designed to be printed and handed to a developer, and nothing you wrote is held hostage by a billing state.

If we go under

Print the packs. It is a deliberately unglamorous answer and it is a real one — a printed pack does not need us to be solvent, reachable, or in business. See the threat model.

Billing questions

Before you commit years to something.

Can I try it before paying for years?

Yes. Start annual, move to multi-year whenever you're convinced. The multi-year price is not a trap you have to enter blind.

What happens if I stop paying?

What lapses is the part that watches for your silence and runs the protocol. Your packs are still there, and anything you printed is still true — but nothing would be released on your behalf, so this is not a state to sit in.

Do the people I name pay anything?

Never, and neither do your clients. Being named costs nothing and always will. Charging the bereaved to open a pack somebody else already paid for would be indefensible.

Can I pay for someone else's plan?

Yes — a family member's or a co-founder's. The payer and the account owner are separate, and the payer never gains any access to what is in it.

Fifteen minutes now.
Clarity forever.

Your first client takes about as long as writing the email you would have sent them anyway.
